I salute the pilots of Tear Extraction And Reclamation Service, and also the pilots of the Coalition of the ExtraOrdinary for a fantastic battle last night in Dodixie.
Since we had already claimed two successes, as two Corporations had already surrendered and left the Coalition Alliance, we were surprised to find that the fight was brought swiftly, with a blob of ships parked outside Dodixie M20 immediately upon the start of the war, and our pilots amassed quickly to meet the challenge. We had approximately ten pilots in Corp Chat, and counted no less than sixteen of our War Targets in Dodixie and surrounding systems, preparing for the fight.
As with all Empire Battles that we've experienced, the fight was fast and furious, with our Alliance scrambling to assemble Fleets to meet our combatants head-on, and I must say, they were as interested in fighting as we were, with NO smack to be found in local.
When the first battle ended, we had lost a Rifter, an Incursus, a Rupture and my own Harbinger, but took down a Vigil, a Thrasher, a Thorax, a Stabber and podded one of their Pilots.
Shortly after this, many of our Members docked and logged for much needed sleep, yet the battle raged on, as the Coalition were blessed with easy targets of our newest Members - and I'm saying, these guys just joined yesterday - relieving them of a Shuttle, a Rifter, a Rupture and three pods.
Overall, I was extremely happy with the result of the battle, and look forward to more in the near future. One of our Original Members posted this on our Forums, and I thought it would be fitting to post it here:
Originally by: AC Resonance, from the Suddenly Ninjas Forums I have flown with every type of corporation imaginable from small starting mining corps, to large primary corps in an alliances.
And I can say to you I've have never see a corporation so eager to have fun and pew pew as Suddenly Ninjas. Some of us took multiple ship losses - I've seen guys leave the game for less. You guys rock, and it's an honour to fly with you! *salutes and wipes tear*
Sorry I had to leave last night and go to bed just when things where getting interesting.
I echo his sentiment, and cheer the efforts of TEARS and the brave pilots of Suddenly Ninjas, who braved the upheaving odds to bring the battle to Dodixie!

If you are going purely on a 'ships killed/lost' basis, then I see how you could glean that, however, I'm winning the war that I have declared, and you can find a post in this thread that proves it.

First, the poster you're quoting is not part of TEARS nor Suddenly Ninjas. Second, our 'silly excuse', as you put it, is far from what you think it might be.
Suddenly Ninjas have always attested that Mission Runners own nothing when it comes to the wrecks they create, and that they are the root cause of the lag found in systems like Dodixie.
And perhaps you'd like to check your numbers. Last time I checked, you have more than double the Members in your Alliance, so we're hardly fighting a battle that's unfair to you. Cry all you want - we'll be happy to continue fighting until all of your Member Corporations leave, or until you surrender the entire War to us.
Originally by: Kacetinho at least the other corps dont lie abaut there causes to make the war...

I'm up for it. Your tears, however, belay the fact that you might not be.
Originally by: Adolf Hilton It wont work, people will start to hate you and very many already do, you as CSM or what it is called? I don't think they even should let you close to there without you beeing chained to a pole.
...chained to a pole... /me wonders what the hell that means.
Originally by: Adolf Hilton Dodixie is a heavily loaded system and NOT due to wrecks by missionrunners, it only laggs outside the stations due to spawning ships/leaving ships constantly, the overview is killing my comp there at M20 station. And that is the only place that it laggs in the whole dodixie system.
May I refer you to a post where it shows you how to turn off your bracketing?
Originally by: Adolf Hilton Tchell Dahhn you can do whatever you want in dodixie but you are only creating more enemys.
It's "enemies". The plural of the word enemy is enemies.
Originally by: Adolf Hilton Should a CSM have half EVE online as enemys and only bring half of them peoples words to the higher levels?
I plan to be fair, and to bring the words of the people who have been ignored for too long to the forefront. If that makes me a bad person, then that's your opinion. (...and you know what they say about opinions.)
Oh, and by the way, who are you to tell me I make enemies by my actions, when you chose the name Adolf Hilton for your avatar?

Who flies a fully loaded Orca during wartime?
I guess this 1.8B ISK loss is why your Alliance is so upset, eh? I think this turns the tide in our favour just a bit.

Surprisingly, I understand that the ship was flying without support, and only exploded once six to eight Reds appeared, possibly from the frantic screams of their Orca Pilot over comms. (Something in Swedish, I'd wager.)
At this point, our Kill Team disengaged, as the kill was sufficient enough to stand, without losing more ships to a larger force. So no, we were unable to loot or salvage the wreck.

Originally by: Caeli Maren The ship in question, and the assets, were all owed by the pilot. He built it up over a year of mining, and very little other industrial activity.
Yes... Yes...
Originally by: Caeli Maren As to why he undocked it, well, lets just say he wasn't thinking clearly. It certainly was a tough loss for him, but it was an individual loss, not corporate or alliance.
Good... Good...
Originally by: Caeli Maren It could be that my fellow alliance pilots might be upset by the hit on your killboard, but it was not damaging to morale.
That's good to know, although I'm sure the Pilot's morale is somewhat ... shaken.
Originally by: Caeli Maren The pilot is not quitting, instead he is giving up mining. He will probably be active in fighting you for the remainder of the war.
Then, in effect, he should be thanking us from saving him from such an unrewarding career. (Seriously, mining?)

Quote: Coalition Pilot > so you guys not wining the war... are contractin merc's.... Coalition Pilot > lol is funny so this way you huys are paying 2 times.... Coalition Pilot > paying ccp.... and paying the merc's.... that's a smart move... Coalition Pilot > LOL
For the record: We do not currently, nor have we ever, paid Mercenary Corporations for their Services. Any assistance that we have had were from Allies, those Corporations who are friendly to the Tear Extraction And Reclamation Services.
I have said it before in other threads. We have had many, many wars where Mercenaries were hired to fight us, and the majority of those have become our friends and are considered respected Allies.
If I had access to my EvEMail at the moment, I would post up two or three EvEMails I have received from various Merc Corps that have informed me that they have declined assisting those who have requested that they declare war on us. (And hats off to them. They are also very, very well respected in the fact that they would not disclose the Corporation or Alliance who was requesting a quote on their services, and made a point to inform me of this.)
That alone should tell you how much respect Suddenly Ninjas and TEARS have in the community, when someone cannot even hire Mercenaries to fight us.
I'm not officially saying the Coalition was attempting to hire Mercs, however, it seems very, very interesting to me that these EvEMails are being received at a time when we have only this war active.

Well, it's happened... We've been decced by R.E.P.O.
I knew it was only a matter of time before our War Targets decided to waste their ISK on Mercs, but I'm extremely impressed by their choice. I have a few friends who have flown for R.E.P.O. in the past, and I've only heard good things about them.
I'm thinking it might have been a little less expensive to accept my offer to discuss the terms of their surrender, but that's ok. I can wait.
In the interim, we've been approached by both the Methods of Mayhem Alliance as well as Crushed Ambitions, letting us know that they have also jumped into the fray to declare war on the Coalition of the ExtraOrdinary. It looks like they'll be having their hands quite full.

My, my. Where has the time gone? Well, since I'm obviously back, I guess it's time to discuss the goings on that have occurred in my absence, is it?

Originally by: Shant You can clearly see where this is going, therefore, I bid you again to cease all your hostile actions against CEO, retract your wardecs and suffer no further repercussions. There's not much left for you to walk away with but I guarantee we will let you have it.
(Oh my God. I cannot believe he just said that. Let me catch my breath here. Breathe in. Breathe out. Check pulse. Yeah. I'm still alive. Good. Pinch myself. Yep. Still awake. Still breathing. It's not a dream.)
Let me get this straight...
You are offering us the chance to surrender to you? As I see it, you're bleeding Corporations, desperate to get out from under the Coalition of the ExtraOrdinary (with emphasis on "Ordinary"), and you have the gall to ask Me to submit to you?
Don't make me laugh, son.
Since this War has started, you've been the underdog, choosing to lose Members and lose face, over the obvious opportunity to pay us what we're demanding. Instead of this, you choose to come here and embarrass yourselves, smacking about this or that, and claiming that you're somehow 'winning' this War.
You're not.
Your losses are obvious, and likely beyond your comprehension. You've had four Corporations surrender to us already (Live Once Die Twice, Generation Kill, Centurion Undertakers Mass Mayhem Syndicate and now, TRM Industries), you've had to pay one of the Best Mercenary Corporations in the game to fight us, and have also lost ISK that you could have been making in your "Industry" based Corporations because you've chosen to fly against the Big Boys.
Originally by: Shant Our ceo can't afford/manage(?) to keep his account going and has to post from other places regarding squabble (with our 'allies' no less) to be pasted on these forums.
True. I've been out of the game for a bit, and have relied on my trusted Members to post my messages here for you to see.
Regardless, the message has been loud and clear: TEARS and Suddenly Ninjas are an Alliance dedicated to your destruction or submission, and apart from the support we have received from other Corporations and Alliances, this is Our War.
We didn't ask for assistance - it was offered, and appreciated. When I noticed that the messages here were going in a direction that wasn't intended, I acted, giving notice of our resolve.
Originally by: Shant Consider carefully the alternative of surrender I'm offering you. Maybe you even would find it...good enough?
"Good Enough" is never enough for me, personally, and I can speak for the rest of TEARS to let you know that we are ready to accept your surrender - on our terms - when you're ready to talk seriously.
Do yourself and your Alliance a favour. Save face. Open discussions, and save yourself further embarrassment. It's time to pay the piper.

I ... vaguely recognize this guy.

Hey Keeves, enjoying the show? We're clearing out Dodixie's trash, and by trash, I mean Industrial Alliances.

Originally by: State Security I've actually had this happen several times, I don't pay, just drop a petition and they reset the mission.
If anyone has this happen to them where a Mission Runner does this, please open a petition and request a Senior GM to look into it. I've spoken with a couple of GM's and what you're saying is not supposed to happen.
They won't undo the Mission Reset, however, the GM who has done this will get a stern talking to.
(And yes, I will be working on this issue if I win a spot on the CSM III. Mission Carebears should not be permitted to exploit the system, and cost us ISK in the process. If you don't like it, wait until after Downtime when the Mission resets itself.)

Originally by: State Security We could go right into the big ol' debate on if what you're doing is an exploit or not by breaking into a mission you:
1. Did not get fleeted to join or were asked in any way to enter. Therefor you bypassed normal game mechanics by probing it out. 2. You take advantage of players who can't prevent you in any way from doing it.
So good luck with getting THAT changed no matter who calls you the "Grand PooBaa".
hyjack end, continue with your little war stories now/
You missed something - they looted, so you can shoot them (see your own explanation of "exploits") and thus, you HAVE a means of preventing it. You kill them, and take it back!
(...and we bypassed game mechanics by probing you out? give your head a shake.)

Since this is actually my thread, I appreciate your advice! As such, please join me in Assembly Hall, where it is being debated as we speak.

Originally by: Ninjatta My advice, if you are going to start quoting your KB AC perhaps you should make sure your alliance mates post their loses as well as their kills.
It's usually done via automated API, which hadn't worked for a couple of weeks because of my absence, and we have an admitted "QR Datadump" issue as well. (Some T2 items are resulting in a "Killmail is malformed" error.) That being said, it will be updated as soon as possible.

Originally by: Ninjatta now that one would get you some GM attention I think. The rest is perfectly legal.
As long as it's not done in a starter system, it's perfectly legal. I've checked.

Keep riding our coattails. If it weren't for TEARS, you wouldn't have made any impression here, since you likely wouldn't have known of the target. When did your war start? Oh, right. After reading it here, first. Sure, you can posture all you'd like, but please. Everybody knows who took CEO apart. Last time I checked, I'm still getting the surrender mails, and I know I have a lot more than you do.

Originally by: Miss Pauli Apparently you are ignorant of how wars and surrender mails work in this case. All parties who have an active war with CEO alliance at the time they disbanded (in practicality) would receive the exact same number of mails. Additionally you appear to spend more time on the forums rather than in game.
Speaking of ignorant, our War was running for days before anyone else jumped in and decced CEO, so we enjoyed a number of mails that the others wouldn't. The Corps didn't just drop because of the extra heat - they did so because we initiated it.
So, before you embarrass yourself, next time, check your sources.

I'll draw a close to the thread, and ask that TEARS Members please discontinue responding to the various nay-sayers in the threads.
Whether you agree or disagree, we are calling this war "won", and regardless of the impact by the other parties (REPO, Methods of Mayhem, Crushed Ambitions, etc.) we have done what we set out to do, which was to disrupt an Industrial Alliance, and declare our sovereignty over the system that is Dodixie.
I thank all of those who have supported us throughout the course of the war, and hope that those who have read this threadnought (there's more to come, believe me) have, at least, enjoyed the rhetoric, the slander, and the verbal fencing that is EvE, whether you come out on our side, or not.
My name is Tchell Dahhn, and I hereby declare Dodixie under TEARS Control. Look for another Mission Runner fail cascade coming soon!
